“Atelier Europeo” was established in Brescia (Italy) on 9th May 2013, on Europe Day. “Atelier Europeo” is a non-profit and non-partisan association, that aims at bringing “more Europe in Brescia and more Brescia in Europe”. It promotes the knowledge of EU funding opportunities for non-profit organizations based in Brescia and interested in European Union financing programmes.
The Founding Members are five 2nd level institutions, representing about 3.000 associations in the province of Brescia and gathering at least 300.000 citizens:

  • Forum Provinciale del Terzo Settore in Brescia (3rd Sector Provincial Forum),
  • CSV Brescia (Centre for voluntary services),
  • CGIL Brescia (trade union),
  • CISL Brescia (trade union),
  • Consorzio Koinon (cooperative consortium including ACLI and Confcooperative).

“Atelier Europeo” is open to any public and private entities sharing its mission.
It is possible to support and join the Association by paying a membership fee as established by the Executive Board. Membership fee for new members is € 20,000.00, but you can become a “supporter” by sharing lower fees.

In 2014, the new “2014-2020 European Multiannual Financial Framework Programme” started: EU has started programmes and opened funding opportunities that can support several social activities in Brescia.
